The ATELEIA leather journal cover was designed to endure a lifetime of use. The full-grain leather and minimal construction means fewer parts to break or wear with age. The main body is constructed of one single piece of hide, and held together by solid brass rivets. The loop closure system is a fast and secure way to keep the journal closed. Slip pockets on the front and rear cover hold two writing utensils, while the brass hardware and vegetable tanned leather take on patina and the signs of use as they age.
Two sizes of the journal are offered. The Small fits an A5 (5.8" x 8.25") sized notebook and ships with a Muji A5 96 page notebook included. The Large fits Composition Notebooks (7.5" x 9.75" - also Moleskin's Extra Large) and ships with the Michael Rodgers brand Decomposition Book. The notebooks are easily removable from the leather sleeve, so when one journal is full, you can replace with another notebook of your choice.
Four colors are available for purchase. From lightest to darkest they are: Natural, London Tan, Chestnut and Medium Brown. All leathers will darken naturally with age, but the 'patina' will be most dramatic with the Natural and London Tan Journals.
